Portraits

Working closely with clients to achieve realistic portraits in stone, marble or bronze. A commission can take many forms and is as individual as the subject.

I work initially on a clay maquette (test piece) allowing the client to become fully involved in the design process prior to final approval and the transfer to stone. Deciding on a scale and stone type can greatly influence the finished piece and helps to capture the personality of the subject in the final stone carving.
